Program Overview

Our Lessons
The Wonder Quest Music Performance Program offers both one-on-one and group lessons from classically trained musicians for the following instruments/subjects:
Private & Group Lessons

Group Lessons Only:

Recorder (up to 2 students)

Music Theory (up to 10 students)

Stage Etiquette (up to 10 students)
Private lessons are $70/half-hour.
Group lessons' sizes range from 2-10 students. For 2 students they are $40/class, for 3-10 $30/class.
Our Certificates
We offer the MTAC Certificate of Merit and the Royal Conservatory of Music Certificate of Merit. Students require once-weekly private lesson and music theory - teachers will give repertoire for each student to prepare for the assessment to qualify the Certificate.

Our Team

Lily Josefsberg
Flute
Lily Josefsberg earned her Masters of Music and Graduate Performance Diploma in piccolo performance from Peabody Conservatory, where she also taught flute Master classes.

Molly Grieco
Piano & Clarinet
Grieco holds an Artist Diploma in Conducting from USC School of Music. She has 35+ years of teaching experience, leading her students to win prestigious competitions.

Margeaux Maloney
Violin
Maloney earned her degrees from The Juilliard School and USC’s Thornton School of Music and has coached students from the Nashville Symphony and the Iberacademy in Medellín, Colombia.

Jacob Thompson
Cello
Thompson earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Oberlin Conservatory Music. He enjoys teaching and is a faculty member of the San Diego Suzuki School of Music.

Xuefeng Stanley
Violin
Violinist and founder of the Hope Music Foundation Xuefeng Stanley Wang has performed internationally for 35 years and taught at the Shenyang Conservatory and USC.

Zou Yu
Violin
Yu studied at the Oberlin Conservatory and the Yale School of Music. She is currently a member of the San Diego Symphony and has been teaching violin since 2010.

Andrew Hayhurst
Cello
Thompson earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Oberlin Conservatory Music. He enjoys teaching and is a faculty member of the San Diego Suzuki School of Music.

Anton Smirnov
Piano
A graduate of Yale University School of Music and the Oberlin Conservatory, Smirnov enjoys teaching piano, chamber groups and conducting string orchestras.
