My goal is to inspire my students with warmth, light, and love. With a Master’s degree in Language Teaching from Normal University and 20 years of teaching experience,
I am certified by the IPA and TIP, was a visiting scholar at UC San Diego, and currently teach Mandarin at San Diego Chinese Academy and Carmel Creek Elementary School.

I have been working in education for eight years, bringing a rigorous and dedicated teaching approach to my students. Although I hold a degree in law, my passion for education and working with children led me to pursue a career in teaching. My commitment and teaching style have been well-received by both students and parents.
Course Structure
This course builds skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Chinese. Students will learn pinyin, basic characters, grammar, and practical vocabulary for everyday conversations.
Through interactive activities and cultural insights, the program fosters communication skills and a deeper understanding of the language.
