In this 12-session robotics program for grades K-3, young learners will explore the exciting world of robotics through hands-on building, playful coding, and imaginative innovation using LEGO WeDo 2.0!
Over 12 interactive lessons, we will cycle through three connected themes:
BUILD
Construct simple robots while learning how gears, sensors, and motors work
CODE
Bring robots to life by making them move, sound, and respond using child-friendly block programming
INNOVATE
Combine building and coding skills to create unique designs, solve open-ended challenges, and present ideas to classmates
As students progress from guided builds to original inventions, they develop skills, creativity, teamwork, and confidence along the way.
Why start robotics early?
Early exposure to robotics nurtures children to connect imagination with engineering, see cause and effect, and gain persistence through trial and error. Through Build, Code, Innovate, they practice the mindset of tomorrow’s inventors and groundbreakers.
Schedule
Our first class starts December 5th and will be held from 5:00-6:00pm every Friday.
