Meet Our Instructor
Kathleen Petrone
Public Speaking Instructor
I founded the Academy for Public Speaking in 2010 to empower youth, nurturing them into confident, effective communicators and leaders.​
​
I have accumulated 11 years of diverse teaching experience, working with students from 4th grade to middle school, including special education for 3rd-8th graders.
Course Structure
We offer 8-session courses designed for teens and pre-teens in grades 3 through 12. Each course focuses on essential communication skills, including public speaking, advanced public speaking, creative communication, and debate.
These sessions are tailored to help students build confidence, improve articulation, and develop critical thinking skills through engaging and interactive lessons.
