Math & Physics Coach
A one-time national physics competition champion with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the esteemed Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), I bring over a decade of experience in AMC and physics coaching. Currently,
I lead the middle school Math Club and serve as the Science Olympiad coach in the Poway School District.
Course Structure

AMC 8
Prep course
Students will explore essential topics such as counting and probability, estimation, proportional reasoning, and elementary geometry, including the Pythagorean Theorem.
Our curriculum emphasizes spatial visualization and the interpretation of graphs and tables, ensuring that students build a strong foundation. By mastering these key concepts, they'll be well-prepared to excel in the AMC 10 competition.
Class Details
• Class Size: 4-6 students (small group setting)
• Recommended Grades: 6th to 8th
Class Breakdown
• Chapters: 30 chapters covering essential topics.
• Class Time Per Chapter: 3 hours each.
• Test Preparation: Includes an additional 30 hours of focused practice.
• Total Class Hours: 120 hours in total.

Prep course
Here, we delve into complex topics such as advanced algebra, geometry—including Pythagorean Theorem—and essential area and volume formulas.
Designed to tackle the challenging problems of the AMC 10, this course not only prepares you for the competition but also enhances your mathematical skills for college applications. Join us to unlock your potential and excel in mathematics!
